A Message from CEO, Quinn Stufflebeam - Our Response to COVID-19 and Business Continuity Plan 



Across the globe, individuals, families, communities, and businesses are adjusting to a new reality.  We extend our heartfelt sympathy to anyone impacted by the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and our sincere gratitude to the healthcare workers, first responders, essential business owners and workers, and organizations on the front lines battling this unprecedented outbreak. 

Due to the outbreak, we have activated our preparedness plan in accordance with our established business continuity plan. Our company has invested in technology solutions that allow our employees to work at remote locations, allowing for continued production and service. The intent of this plan is to provide for the ongoing health and safety of our employees, customers, and communities while ensuring seamless service.  

 

In accordance with the guidelines set out by the CDC and other health authorities, we are taking the following precautions:
 
We are asking the following questions prior to and also at the time closings are scheduled. An affirmative answer to any of the following questions will require us to make different closing arrangements or reschedule the closing.
  • Have you been diagnosed or are you being tested for COVID-19?

  • Have you or household family members traveled to or from another state within the last 14 days?

  • Have you or household family members returned from international travel or travel to high-risk areas within the last 14 days?

  • Have you or household family members had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days?

  • Have you or household family members experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms (specifically, symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19)currently listed on the CDC site here) in the last 14 days?
      
We are offering alternative closing options at all of our locations.
 
Remote/Online Signing Options
 
Remote or online signing may be an option. Please contact us to confirm availability.
 
Curbside/Outside/Drive-Up Closing Appointments
 
Here is what to expect: 
 
Upon arrival, call our office and we will bring the documents to you. Each document requiring a signature and/or date will be tagged.  Once all documents have been signed place them in the envelope provided. We will verify that all documents have been signed and at this point, your signing is complete. Click for a quick take of our Curbside Closing Process.
 
If you have special circumstances or requirements that necessitate a variation from our current outside, remote/online options, please contact us.
 
Our team members are following the CDC's suggested hygiene practices.
 
Specifically:

Closings: Limiting attendance in closings to essential parties. 

Arriving for a Closing: Encouraging customers to use hand sanitizer and/or wash hands upon arrival at our office.

Disinfecting Lobbies and Common Areas:  Wiping all hard surfaces with anti-bacterial wipes or a bleach solution frequently throughout the day. 

Post-Closing Disinfecting: After each closing, the chairs, table and door handles are wiped down with disinfecting wipes or a bleach solution.

Closing Table Items: We have removed extra pens, paper, reading glasses and other items normally found on the closing tables. 

Pens: We are distributing new pens to each closing participant and not re-using.

Lobby Items: All reading materials, ceramic mugs, and other re-usable items have been removed.

Children’s Play Areas: We have removed children’s play areas and toys from our lobbies.

Hand Sanitizer and Cleaning Products: Are being offered to employees and visitors in our offices, as these products remain available.

 
We are closely monitoring the health and well-being of our team members.
 
All internal company in-person meetings have been canceled and we are instead holding virtual meetings. 
 
All company-sponsored events including open houses and training events have been canceled until further notice. 
 
All non-essential business travel has been suspended. 
 
Our team members have been asked to restrict travel.
